Hey guys, so I know it’s been a while since I’ve last posted but I just haven’t had any time to sit down relax and enjoy writing my weekly posts. Finally I am sitting here at work, on my tablet, got nothing else to do and I thought I better get a blog post up, so as you can tell from the title I will be filling you in on my favourites from this month.
I still haven’t got to try out anything new, I am definitely in need of a good shopping spree, but I have been buying a lot of things I have ran out of. I was away on holiday as well and I thought I would be spending a lot in duty free but there was nothing out there that caught my attention.
Now let’s talk favourites! Starting off with a face wash I’ve been using for quite a while now, it has made a huge difference in my skin, my skin feels a lot more hydrated, also I felt as though the surface on my skin was really uneven and since I’ve been using this face wash my face has felt a lot more smooth and even. It is the Nip + Fab Glycolic Fix Cleanser. This is a gentle exfoliator/cleanser, although the consistency is gel like it does still work as an exfoliator, once you’ve massaged this into your skin for a good 2-3 mins and rinsed your face, you will definitely start to feel a slight difference in your skin and as you start to use it on a regular basis (for me every night) you will see a big difference. I will upload a full review and further details on this product very soon, so keep a look out for that.
The next product is no surprise, I bought this a while ago and since then I have not used anything else but this, it is the Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade. I prefer this because when you apply it, it is really creamy so it is really good to blend into your brows without them looking too bold and very harsh looking. Once it has set it looks really natural and it applies very effortlessly. I have really fine hair so as you can imagine my eyebrows are always flying all over the place, so what I like most about this product is that it keeps my brows under control.
The next item is a beauty blender on a handle literally. I think this idea is just genius, I love using my beauty blender but I just didn’t like using it much because it didn’t have a handle, but when I found this I couldn’t resist buying it. When I cream contour or even brighten my face with a highlighting concealer this beauty blender does an amazing job with blending it all together making it look natural. You can use the for pretty much anything and is easy to clean.
I’m sure this next product was in my favourites a few months ago, but recently it has made its way back into my favourites and it is the NYX Lip Cream in the shade Natural. Whenever I apply lipstick or even just lip liner I always make sure I apply a small amount of the NYX Lip Cream in the centre of my lips and it just makes my lips look more plump and 3D.
I am the type of person to only stick to one perfume because I personally just like the idea of being reminded of that smell. I was a D&G No.3 kind of girl until the Marc Jacobs Daisy perfume caught my attention, now these two perfumes are completely different scents. D&G is a lot more strong and bold however the Marc Jacobs one smells more fresh and light which is why I really like it.
Red was the only colour nail polish I would ever wear a long time ago but then I stopped because neutral tones took over my life and then all of a sudden I’m back to wearing red again. I find it hard to get the perfect red shade, you don’t want it to have orange hues nor too pink or too much of a deep red, so if you are looking for that perfect red nail polish then this is it. It is Mac Nail Lacquer in Rouge Marie, this is perfect for all skin tones and it just looks simply stunning on.
Thanks for reading my June favourites, I hope you all found it interesting in some way. Take care.
