Mixed Berry & Banana Smoothie

I like my comfort foods a lot, crisps, chocolates, cakes etc, but consuming foods like this is just not a good healthy option, high amounts of salts, artificial sugars and saturated fats just don’t go well with me. So for me to fight that hunger is quite easy, I just pop out a smoothie, which is full of fibre so it will keep that hunger away also it’s full of benefits, vitamins and nutrients that everyone needs. I did lack with my healthy eating for a month, but now that I’m stuck in the house 24/7 with nothing else to do, having a routine of eating at certain times have improved my lifestyle in so many ways.

Anyways heres a smoothie I love making, it’s full of different berries, a banana and some Greek yoghurt and milk. Here’s how I make it…

Ingredients
  • Handful of Strawberries
  • Handful of Raspberries
  • Handful of Blackberries
  • Handful of Blueberries
  • 1 Banana
  • 2 heaped tbsp of Pure Greek Youghurt
  • 300ml of Milk

Method
All you do is get a blender, I’m using the Bervillle Blender which is amazing. Add your berries, your banana and milk to the blender along with the Greek youghurt. Make sure it’s not Greek style youghurt as Pure Greek Youghurt is much more creamier, you can pick this up from Tesco.
Once you’ve blended that together then that’s your smoothie done, you can add ice cubes at the end if you like as they are really nice chilled.
A delicious smoothie, full of protein, vitamins & fibre, also it tastes amazing, enjoy!
Lots of love
