My Night Time Routine

Hey lovelies, I hope you are all well! Today I thought I would share my night time routine with you.. This is what I do near enough every single night, and I hope the pictures aren’t too cringey for you. Once I’ve had my dinner and spent some time with the family I go upstairs and just chill in my room. My sisters usually come to my room and we chat away or I either read a magazine (you will only ever see me read the Look Magazine) and I catch up on some of my programmes, a bit of Vampire Diaries or Pretty Little Liars.

Once I’ve chilled for a bit, I start to take my make-up off and cleanse my face, at times this would be the first thing I do when I get home, but I’m a bit lazy in that department of taking my make-up off. So the first I do is take my eye make up, brows and slightly wipe over my face with the Garnier Micelar Cleansing Water, which is magic in a bottle, it’s very sensitive to the skin, does a really great job (this is probably my 4th bottle, this is how much I love it).
Once I’ve cleansed my face over I take off the excess make up off my face with the Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Milk. I massage this into the skin really well so it breaks down the make up properly and wipe my face over with a hot muslin cloth. I absolutely love this product my face feels so clean after this, there’s absolutely no make up left on my skin. You can also use the Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm which is also just as good, however I prefer the milk form.

I find my skin does well with a serum and I’ve recently discovered the Esteé Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum which leaves my skin feeling plump, hydrated and just very healthier.
I don’t have any problems with my under eyes other than recently I feel like my concealer has been creasing and I feel as though the Bobbi Brown Hydrating Cream has worked really well, it has left my skin feeling smooth and plump, which has left my concealer sitting perfectly. I prefer using this at night as it absorbs into the skin well however for during the day my skin would feel over hydrated.
If my skin ever feels really dry and dull, I love using The Body Shop Vitamin E Serum-in-Oil, I don’t use this all the time as I do have oily skin, but I do have to mention it as the next day my skin is left glowing and really well hydrated.
I moisturise my skin everyday and every night if I don’t moisturise my skin feels so dull and my make up doesn’t sit well for the full day. I don’t like moisturisers that leave that greasy residue and I don’t like thick moisturisers, so this Clinique Moisture Surge is perfect for me it’s a very thin water based sort of moisturiser, it absorbs into the skin so nicely and leaves the skin full of moisture, however doesn’t leave any greasy feeling in the skin.
I’ve learnt by using loads of products on the skin doesn’t help the skin at all. You don’t need to use so many products, just use what goes well with your skin, these products go amazingly well with my skin.
This is all I do for my night time routine, I will probably go more in depth in another post on how I maintain my skin, including what face mask I use etc.
Lots of love
