The Vegan Life

I’m going VEGAN woo! Actually, I’m not fully converting, I’m going to attempt it for the next week. I have been preparing myself these past few weeks to go vegan and I’ve decided to go ahead and kick start it tomorrow.

I’ve had so many people asking what’s the whole purpose of me going vegan or they’ve been telling me to attempt going vegetarian first. Going vegetarian is too easy and I am trying to give myself that restriction of what I can eat and what I have to stay away from. I have not been put off meat, I am such a big meat lover but I just had to give myself this goal that I want to try and achieve.

I’m going vegan because I want to start eating clean food and try and have a plant based diet. So, it’s only for a week, I’m sure I’ll be fine.
Being Vegan increases your energy, apparently it makes you feel and look younger, because you’re consuming a lot of plant based foods that are packed with vitamins and minerals that are so good for the body. There are amazing health benefits, which is great for your immune system!
I have been training for a long time at the gym and I’m away on holiday in a few weeks and I want to look good of course but I am prone to getting ill whenever I’m away so, I have been preparing myself.

These past few weeks I’ve just bee going through loads of recipes online to make sure I know what I can and cannot eat and since I go gym I need to make sure I still consume enough protein so making sure I have a balanced vegan diet is important.

For the past few days I have been drinking an antioxidant shot to clean out my system, I will post the recipe to that probably this week sometime.

I’m going to be taking a note of as many vegan meals as I can this week. Maybe help anyone who has been wanting to try this out. Try it with me or maybe after, it’s supposed to be really good for you so let’s see how this will work out for me… Wish me luck 🙂
