My best friend is getting married! And of course we decided to go on holiday for the hen party.
The Hen Party was in Monaco in south of France but we had a stop over in Venice of the North aka Amsterdam. This was my first time going to Amsterdam and I honestly loved the city even though I was there for a short period of time, I don’t know if it was because of the company I had or if it was just the essence of the city. The never ending block of tall narrow buildings or the canals that were dug up since the Dutch Golden Age situated in the middle of the never ending buildings. The cute bridges that crossed over the canals that would lead you to rows and rows of bikes. It was honestly I lovely city and I cannot wait to go again and spend more days there.
Although we were spoilt for choice, Rene’s Croissants was our go to dessert cafe. This place honestly done the best Crepes, Churros and Waffles, even their cannoli were delicious.
We also had brunch at a lovely restaurant called Royal 98. From the chic white smokey marble and gold interiors to the smell of the bakery and the yummy food, it is definitely a place you must go to if you ever visit Amsterdam.
Sincerely Sophs x
