This has got to be probably my most favourite smoothie I’ve ever made. It has that refreshing tropical taste that will instantly give you a boost of energy.
If I make a smoothie for breakfast, I always add rolled oats, which is slow releasing in energy, so it will give me energy throughout the day. I mix in a combination of frozen fruits that taste great together and also mix in my favourite protein powder. I add protein powder as I go to the gym every morning.
Ingredients:
- Handfull frozen mango
- Handfull frozen pineapple
- Half of an apple
- 1 cup of rolled oats
- 1tsp flaxseeds
- 1tsp chia seeds
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
- 300ml Almond Milk
Methods:
- Blend everything together and enjoy.
- I buy my fruit fresh for the week and I freeze it, I love using frozen fruit as it gives any smoothie that refreshing cold taste, however you don’t have to use frozen fruit. You can use it fresh.
