I cannot believe we are already about to come into March, and we will be going into the new season Spring 2018 on the 20th of March! This means crisp sunny mornings, the daffodills will start to sprout out and the blossom trees will start to bloom. But do you want to know what the best thing about coming into a new season? The seasonal fashion changes.
Spring 2018 is full of amazing trends which I cannot wait to switch around! We still have the classic favourites, which are denim and pastels: Denim is probably one fashion trend that will always look trendy and can easily be dressed up or down. My favourite way to style denim would be either a statement denim jacket with a very casual outfit, or denim on denim, with a denim shirt and jeans. As for pastels, this is the perfect trend to style and make it look as if you’ve made that extra effort and it’s so refreshing.
I have noticed from a lot of the high street brands there are a lot of stripes in fashion. I’ve never been a huge fan of them because I’ve always found it difficult trying to style it. However recently I’ve been sent some items from various different companies which included stripes and I’ve had to find a way to style them and now all of a sudden I’m all for stripes. I will definitly be styling stripes a lot more but not just any kind of stripes, I’m more of a vertical stripes kinda gal. Which one are you? Veritcal or horizontal?
This Spring we can style a throwback to the 1980s with puffy jackets and puffy shoulder pads. Trench coats and Macs are another classic favourite that is perfect for the colder days this season.
Also you can’t go wrong with completing an outfit with a waist belt, that will cinch in your waist, go for a chain belt over a slinky dress or a thick waist belt over a shirt dress.
I’ve picked out some of my favourite items from the new Spring Collections from a varitey of different brands and I’ve put the pieces together to create some trendy outfits. I will leave information for each company, the price and direct links, if you wish to have a look at them.
